PDU Power Distribution Unit FAQ
Q:What is the input configuration of this PDU?
A:The unit uses a three-phase Wye input with 200–240VAC / 346–415VAC input voltage and a rated input current of 3 × 125A.
Q:What type of outlets does the PDU use?
A:The PDU provides 48 self-locking C39 outlets. The C39 socket accepts C13, C15, C19, and C21 compatible connections.
Q:Why are the outlets arranged in three colors?
A:The outlets follow an alternating phase sequence and use dark gray for Phase A, light gray for Phase B, and white for Phase C. This visual identification helps engineers manage phase distribution during installation and maintenance.
Q:Does the PDU monitor each outlet?
A:Yes. The intelligent monitoring system measures current, voltage, power, and kWh for each outlet, in addition to monitoring the PDU input.
Q:Can individual outlets be switched remotely?
A:Yes. Each outlet supports ON/OFF switching, allowing remote power management through the compatible control system.
Q:Which communication protocols does the smart meter support?
A:The smart meter provides Ethernet and RS485 interfaces and supports HTTP, SNMP, SSH, and MODBUS protocols.
Q:Does the PDU include circuit breakers?
A:Yes. The unit uses 24 × 20A single-pole circuit breakers with UL489 certification and a 10kA interrupting rating.
Q:What operating temperature can the PDU support?
A:The specified operating ambient temperature range is 0–60°C.
Q:Can ANEN customize the PDU?
A:Yes. ANEN provides OEM and ODM services. Depending on project requirements, customers can discuss outlet configurations, colors, labels, cable assemblies, communication requirements, enclosure specifications, and other customization options with the engineering team.
Q:Can ANEN provide other data center power products?
A:Yes. ANEN provides a broader range of data center power cables, data center power whips, PDUs, connectors, plugs, distribution cabinets, racks, and related power distribution products.
